Russo & Burke's corporate practice can be divided into two main categories: the establishment and servicing of closely held business entities, including corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies and the servicing of major United States corporations in conjunction with the litigation and real estate departments of the firm.
Work in the former category includes:
- The formation of corporations, general and limited partnerships and limited liability companies.
- The servicing of these entities through the drafting of all corporate and partnership documents, the handling of labor and employment issues, the sale and leasing of business property and litigation of various sorts related to the foregoing.
- The transfer by gift or sale of interests in business units, as well as the liquidation of business units.
Work in the latter category includes:
- The drafting and review of corporate documents, including those related to the transfer of interests in the corporation.
- Litigation related to the collection of corporate assets.
- Advice related to employee disputes including termination and Americans With Disabilities matters.
